Chez Pierre is a double-storey guesthouse with a beautiful, covered terrace and a deck going all the way to the pool. Chez Pierre comprises of 6 double rooms with bathroom-en-suite on an island amongst a park-like setting and a stone throw away from the lagoon.
YOUR HOST
Belgian-born Pierre Deckers moved to Johannesburg 30 years ago and more recently discovered the gem of the Western Cape, Knysna, with his wife Lynn. Together they restored and curated a gorgeous, nautical-inspired haven for you to enjoy the romance of Leisure Isle and it’s surrounding beauty.

“This is the most perfect guest house we have ever stayed in to be honest!!! 10/10. The breakfast was amazing!! All prepared by Pierre himself. The best croissants – freshly baked with great cheese and jams to go with them. Great cereals and fruit salad – and the rest cooked to order – eggs, bacon, onion and tomatoes with breads. Excellent!!! Pierre and Lynn were the most generous and congenial hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. What a great experience. Come to Knysna just to experience this!!”

“We recently stayed at Chez Pierre for two nights. What an amazing guesthouse, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated like royalty. Owners Pierre and Lynn are amazing, nothing too much trouble for them. The house was beautiful and absolutely spotless! Each bedroom is decorated differently, the bed and linens were superb, TV and tea and coffee in each room. Breakfast was out of this world with freshly backed croissants, cheese, jams, fresh fruit and yogurt and any kind of egg you would like. We will most definitely be going back! And will stay longer next time. 😀”
“Wow, what a great place to stay. We had such a great time conversing with Pierre and his recommendations were superb. We were lucky to have the Captain’s suite which was extra spacious. The pool area is beautiful (I wish the weather had been warmer at the time we were there) and there are even Yoga mats.”

“Pierre is a great host. The room was awesome, same as the kitchen and the outdoor area. Pierre and his family live next to the apartment and will make you feel at home immediately. Be prepared to get a nice hand made breakfast and many useful tips and heartful conversations whenever needed. The highlight of our stay was for sure Noodle, we believe a mix between an lion and tiger, but Pierre ensured us that she is a dog.”
